Before flat panel TV's the rugged, perfect cube KX-27 Profeel was the default system for museums and art galleries. Most often the TV itself was more impressive than what was playing on it.

This is a true Sony classic, and gives us instant nostalgia for CRT TV's.

I have one of these, it is still in use to this day. It was from a studio that renovated. I had used it as a TV for a while with a VCR as a tuner, DVD playback was pretty good. The color reproduction of this set is amazing! I love the amber glow of the buttons that are hidden until you push the CONTROL button on the front. Now its in my basement as part of a DDR setup hooked into a Play Station 2

If you are in NY there are usually many to be had on craigslist.
Here’s a 20″ version for sale. The studio I used to work at had a bunch in storage.
Check out any Audio or Video Post facility and you might find one for sale.

I also have one of these - it replaced my 1st gen Profeel which also looks stunning but this is much lighter and smaller which is good.
It’s a good CRT and better than most domestic units - I love it’s styling and multiple inputs.
I’ll be sad when it’s tube goes as that will be the end of it - hopefully someone will have made a decent TFT by then.

I can’t believe you didn’t include Trinitron!!! The utlimate Sony TV design invention: square corners!

    :-)
