   I have this keyboard, and I must say I absolutly love it…
   I can not really understand your statement about “looks like it is trying to hard to be a designery rather than functional”… That’s the point!… It is not supposed to be as functional as conventional keyboards or other high tech keyboards… It’s supposed to look smooth and hot… It’s a keyboard designed for your living room for your home entertainment center.. That was the original idea for the DiNovo edge.. It was never intended as a regular keyboard… The good part is that it does indeed also work as a regular keyboard.. So it works AND looks good!… No it doesn’t have hundreds of shortcut buttons and stuff like that.. But it has smoothness, cool lights, and build in mousepad… Nice keys, flat and soft to press.. And if you remember to clean it once in a while it keeps the good look…
   It is not designed to be your normal computer keyboard… It is designed to be in view in your living room where everybody can see it…

   I have this keyboard. It is pure sex… not only in the looks department, but in comfort as well. Saying it falls short of the latest keyboards from Apple makes me wonder if you even tried one out first.

   I have 2 of these. Bought them from Best Buy (actually 5 of them) when they were clearanced at $39/each. eBayed 3 of them, am typing on one now, have a backup in the attic.

   I returned the new Apple keyboard for the diNovo. It’s amazing. Great tactile feedback and is a joy to use.

   Glad I have a backup. I’ll be using this thing for a long time to come.

   I also own this keyboard. I bought it for my HTPC in my loungeroom and its perfect. No need for both a keyboard and mouse anymore with its built in touch pad. And its functionally VERY good. Has all your normal shortcut buttons plus a few programmable ones. And yes they did put a lot of effort into the design but definitely didn’t skimp on anything else. Awesome to type on; very comfortable. Also, everyone who walks into my loungeroom wants one now…

   I am one of five people that bought this keyboard apparently and it sucks.

   Just kidding, I love this thing and I’m typing on it right now. Even typing on this keyboard is better than others, just the feel of it… it’s either this or an IBM M keyboard for me. From how sexy it is you probably wouldn’t guess it’s got a bright orange back to it, but no one ever notices that oddly enough. Not sure why they did that though.

   If only it had a number pad =( *sigh* can’t have everything I suppose, but I’ve gone a year without it and yet I still accidentally hit the desk to the right of my keyboard from time to time.

   It also has a touchpad and touch scroll, so it’s actually a decent mouse. You really can’t say it lacks for features, especially next to the Apple.

   I am quite familiar with both the DiNovo Edge and the latest apple keyboards. Clearly the person who wrote the caption is not! The apples are somewhat lacking in both style and function when compared to the Edge.

   What the DiNovo lacks is large left & right mouse buttons on the left edge. Since the keyboard is often used while being held in both hands (it’s intended for HTPC use, which is why it has a LIon charger in the stand) one can mouse with the right thumb and click with the right, but the extra mouse button is unfortunately quite small and you have to be very familiar with the keyboard to use it this way.

   The volume control is unbelievably stylish! Jobs is orange with envy (DiNovo users will get the joke)!

   I’ve this keyboard for more than a year now, It’s absolutey GREAT.. except for no numpad..

   I spoiled a full bottle over it last week :( I let it dry, and tried it. It still worked, but was all sticky and sometimes tripping like crazy..

   There was no way to open it and clean it. So i try a bunch of pure ethanol over it. Dried it with a hairdryer en put it against a fan for a day, and now it’s working fine again.

   Really high quality stuff. Absolutely great.. At my work i tried the apple keyboards.. but i only find them interesting if i had a complete apple system.. it’s not that special, just to give everything a finishing touch with their style
