A wheelchair is not an item you would expect to be pedal powered, but there you go. Such an item does in fact exist and has proven useful in rehabilitation.

is it just me or does this defeat the purpose? Everyone Ive ever known whose needed a wheel chair needed one cause they cant WALK!!!

Potential users include:
Arthritis/muscle wasting patients who can’t support their own weight
Brain tumor/Palsy/dystrophy patients who can’t coordinate walking
