Is it me, or does anyone else have a problem finding something interesting to say about Linus? Didn’t he used to carry around a blanket, all the time, or something? Anyway - turns out he has a Mac, whoopie do.

“Is it me, or does anyone else have a problem finding something interesting to say about Linus?”
Yeah, I think it’s just you. Come on, the developer of the Linux kernel? And you can’t find anything nice to say about him? The Godfather of open source?
“Didn’t he used to carry around a blanket, all the time, or something?”
Such a typically American reaction to the name Linus. Also extremely juvenile. I don’t know what your name is, but I’m sure you wouldn’t enjoy reading a Finnish or perhaps Japanese blog where the author was making juvenile cracks like that about your name. Linus was a perfectly normal name before Charles Schultz started drawing. If you couldn’t come up with anything more intelligent than this, you should have left it blank, like you did with others.

How come the inventor of Linix uses a Mac? How come he doesn’t use one of the many, many versions of Linux. Is it because it is easier to use a Mac. :-)

That says alot about the usability of linux if even its creator would rather use a macintosh!…
OSX does owe alot to linux/ Unix though

Tony: You are an idiot. A “Mac” is a piece os harware from Apple Inc. Linux is an open source kernel released under the GPL.
Kola: You are also an idiot. OS X does not owe a thing to Linux and you are delusional to believe otherwise.
Linus has used a PowerMac in the past, but that doesn’t mean he uses OS X. Apple makes good hardware, so it makes sense that Linus would choose such a thing.
