View all the objects in the chart(s): wonderful tensegrity structures
A really nice little model built at the University of Arizona, where the struts in a tensegrity dome are bent, to form simple ,multiple element, trusses for the compression elements.

The end result is very appealing, visually.

Information about this model in context may be found in my “Comprehensive Anticipatory Design Science” directory at:

Look under both the “Zigzag-Strut Tensegrites” and–because of its parabolic geometry–the “Parabolic Domes” directories.
