This may not be a great video, but the St. Louis Arch elevator is worth a mention. It consists of futuristic all white interior pods and a bizarre parabolic path within the arch itself.

not parabolic, it resembles the path of the hyperbolic cosine.

I’ve ridden this. It travels up the arch following the curve of the shaft until it reaches a point where the pod is tilted at perhaps 15 degrees, than ratchets back to a horizontal position several times during the ride.
